We can assist in your search, saving you time and allowing you to continue with your day-to-day life safe in the knowledge that your property search is being taken care of, In Confidence, by a company directed and run by Chartered Surveyors. 

Unlike estate agents and lettings agencies, who act for the sellers or owners of property, we act for prospective purchasers or tenants. We offer a truly independent service to private and corporate clients. The only allegiance we have is with our clients. 

  • Purchasers: If you are seeking to acquire a rural property, particularly a farm, smallholding, equestrian or residential property we may be able to find the property which you desire. We offer a genuinely personal and professional service. Please contact us, In Confidence, if you consider that we may be able to assist you.

  • Vendors: If you are considering the disposal of property before long or, indeed, if your Property is already "Being Marketed Quietly" we would be interested to hear from you. We look forward to receiving, In Confidence, a copy of your property brochure or details, including the address and the post code. For rural properties with land a plan or map showing the boundaries and general location would be welcome. We may have a client who is seeking to purchase a property like yours in your area.

  • "INSIDE TRACK” Mailing List: We regularly receive information about properties which are available for sale. Many of these are not for sale through estate agents. As a potential purchaser you can place yourself on the “INSIDE TRACK” when you receive, our free mailing list, without commitment, just contact us via email or telephone for the current edition.


The Farm Finder Service: 

[a] Your Requirements Are Identified. We understand that it is essential for us to know and to understand your requirements. With this in mind you can simply complete an initial Contact Form as fully as you can and then return it to us. 

[b] Potentially Suitable Properties Are Identified. (subject to availability). We will save you time by carrying out an In-depth search of available property. We will use our contacts to identify properties which are available even though they may not be currently marketed openly, for example, via estate agents.

[c] A Short-List Is Drawn up from [b] above. We will liaise with you.

[d] Viewings Of Short-Listed Properties Are Arranged. We will liaise with selling agents or vendors and arrange accompanied viewings of selected properties. We will provide you with our independent observations.

[e] Present your offer to the seller or sellers' agent. We will present our client's offers to the vendor or via the seller's agent.

Optional Additional Services Available 
(These are subject to separate agreement regarding terms and conditions of engagement including fees etc.) 

[1] Local Visits. To help clients familiarize themselves with the search area. 

[2] Negotiations. For an additional fee we can negotiate the purchase price on the behalf of our client. This service is also available to those who have already found a property but need assistance in negotiating the purchase. 

[3] Survey and Valuation Services. We offer a range of useful additional survey and valuation services including full Building Surveys, RICS HomeBuyer Reports and Residential Valuations.

The Company:

Director, Byron Evans, is a born and bred Welshman. He is an active committee member of the South West Wales sub-branch of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. After gaining a Diploma in Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, he qualified as an Agricultural Surveyor, working in Local Government in North Yorkshire and the Bristol area. He moved into the private residential sector in the 1990's, working in Bedfordshire before returning to West Wales. Byron Evans & Co has carried out thousands of surveys and valuations for major mortgage lenders and private clients throughout West Wales.

As members of the senior UK based world-wide property profession, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) we adhere to standards set and actively monitored by the RICS.
